I recently attended an estate sale where I purchased a small tub of various rock and mineral specimens. I bought these because I thought they were so pretty, but have since decided I just don't have room for them. Problem is, I don't know the first thing about rocks and minerals….. like I said, I just thought they were pretty.
So now, I have these and figure I'd sell them. So I go off to a local used book store and purchased 9 different books to aid in describing my treasures. But I can't even pronounce 95 percent of the names in these books, so that leaves me with trying to match what I have to pictures. What I'm trying to say is that I cannot guarantee to you that I have the right name with the right specimen. I'll have to describe these to the best of my ability, so here goes….
This one is clear, much like glass. It has many different smooth sides like as if it was cut quite a few times. The angles are of varying lengths and widths. I would guess that about 50 to 60 percent of this piece has the smooth sides, the remaining area is rough, like someone chipped into it. There is some dirt remaining in some of the rough areas, and I will leave that.
Holding a small pen-light against it produces small multi color shinny areas within. It's almost like tiny prisms. The inside reminds me of a shattered glass ball. The weight on this piece is 309 grams, or just about 11 ounces. It's about the size of a large lemon.
I really don't know what else I can tell you about it. As it is, I'm really reaching for a description and am guessing at much of what I've listed here. Hopefully I'm not far off. I have other specimens that I will be listing. Hopefully I can find the needed info for them in one of these books.

All items in my listings come from either garage or estate sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.
