If you can remember the 60s, then you'll remember that every coffee table had one of these massive dishes. My first thought was that it is an ashtray, but it doesn't have the grooves for holding a cigarette in place. I don't know what other use it would have except for all your friends wishing they had it. It's hard to give accurate measurements, but the way it is sitting in my photo, it is roughly 18 inches side to side, 15 inches front to back, and 2.75 inches tall. There are no chips or cracks in the dish.
Due to the size of the box that this will have to ship in, Postal delivery is out of the question. If could be mailed by priority, but their charge is just under $30, which is insane. This will be sent by UPS ground. Their charges are high also, but not as bad as the postal service.
Note regarding the packing.... this will come wrapped in what I call "egg crate foam". I searched all over for something that I felt would protect this dish, and ended up using this material that I had a mirror wrapped in. This has been stored up in the loft of my storage area, so the material is not the prettiest, but should provide the protection needed.
