This book was written by Elizabeth F. Atwood, Commercial Department of the High School, Westfield, Mass.

I would say that this book is in excellent condition for being over 100 years old. It only has the one date of 1905, so I am assuming it to be a first edition. It measures 5.5 by 7.5 inches and has 201 pages. It is a hard back book. The pages have darkened due to age. Flipping through it, I see several pages where there is a check mark beside a work. There is also the name of a previous owner inside the front cover.

Info from the Preface:

The following lessons contain a collection of words very frequently misspelled by pupils pursuing the commercial studies. They have been gathered wholly from notebooks in which the pupils have daily recorded words misspelled, not only in connection with the technical commercial branches but also in English work in all phrases, - in history, civics, political, economy, etc. Suggestions as to the meaning and use of each word are given, but these are not to be considered full definitions.

Please note that Alaska and Hawaii buyers will have different delivery charges than what is quoted below. Delivery will be via USPS Media Mail. Depending on the distance from California, delivery could take up to 2 weeks. Buyer to pay delivery charges of $4.00. Insurance is suggested. Seller will not be liable for uninsured items.

All items in my listings come from either garage or estate sales. I do not know if they came from homes where smoking or pets were present. All items are sold in the same condition as when I received them.

An explanation regarding COMBINED SHIPPING charges:

I do combine additional purchases to save my customers on shipping charges. When more than one item is purchased, I begin with the item with the highest quoted rate and add onto it. At checkout, you will notice that it shows the same price for additional items as it does for the original item. That second price is not correct, but that's how this program does it, so I have to show it that way. Any items after the first one will be discounted and the invoice will be corrected and resent. If you'd like a quote on additional items, email me which items and I'd be happy to give you an accurate quote.
