The heart portion on this pendant is about the size of a quarter. The portion above the heart is almost one inch long. My apologies for not knowing what this design is called, it reminds me of an old antique piece, but I do not believe it is very old. This is silver in color, but has no markings stating that it is indeed silver, so my guess would be that it is not.
